My Girl
What a great summer. We have enjoyed many new adventures with our 2 year old Emma. She is talking up a storm and makes me laugh daily with all of her crazy sayings. My favorite one recently was I was singing "My Girl" to her while she was taking a bath. I got to the part of "when it's cold outside..." without loosing the rhythm of the song she sang "you have to wear a coat!" What! Well at least she knows how to stay warm on a cold day! I will post pictures as soon as possible of our wonderful summer!

Crazy Summer
We have had a crazy week at the Bacon's house for sure. Running non stop to keep up. My family friends "The Nobles" have sent their three youngest kids to come and stay for a bit. We have made a trip to Orcas Island, Seattle for the spaceneedle, and we are heading to Silverwood tomorrow for a day of fun before the girls head home on Sunday. They have made it to a Mariners game (unfortunately they can't seem to win one), the flight museum, and by the end of the trip they will have been from one side of the state to the other. We have all definitely put some miles in our log books these past couple of weeks. Inbetween all of this Emma has swim lessons twice a week. Seems like we are all go and no stop, and my house surely shows it! We adopted a new horse that Emma likes to consider her own....Dipper..and she loves him. The first night we brought him home she cried cause he couldn't sleep with her. Andy has been staying busy at work and we do our best to get him away from it as often as they will allow. It has been a great couple of months with lots of new adventures! HAPPY SUMMER TO ALL!

Emma's Second Birthday`
Our little girl is two years old....Wow how time flew by. We enjoyed her birthday for a whole week. I swear we had a cupcake at least 4 nights in a row. All she could talk about was her birthday and the cupcakes and baoons. Andy and I would put her to bed and she would make us promise that we would bring cupcakes and baoons to her birthday party. We had a great time with family and friends and all the little one's running around. You forget how much fun you had at your Birthday Parties growing up, until you have the chance to throw a kids party. Pin the Bow on Ollivia, cottonballs stuck on noses, flying kites, and just good ol belly laughing....kids sure do know how to have a good time! I will post pictures soon!
